Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Measure all ingredients very carefully.

Get Cooking!

In the bowl of a stand mixer with a paddle attachment add the butter and sifted icing sugar. Mix on low until the sugar and butter are fully combined.

Add vanilla extract and salt, then increase the speed to medium and beat until it becomes light, stopping to scrape down the edges of the bowl with a spatula every few minutes.

Reduce speed to low and slowly pour in the 35% cream while mixing. Once all cream is incorporated, turn the speed back up to medium for 1 minute.
