Growing Chefs! Ontario’s priority focus will always be our food education programming; therefore, private events and caterings, will be booked in and around our education programming schedule whenever possible. In order to rent our facility privately and adequately staff your private event, we do require a minimum revenue spend of $1500+HST per event. This also pertains to outside / private cater requests.
The capacity of our facility is 100ppl throughout our entire space, which encompasses two floors. Our main dining room seats a capacity of 36ppl – though smaller dining spaces throughout the lower floor makes capacity for a seated meal ~70ppl. Growing Chefs! Ontario HQ is a fully licensed space, meaning a cash or host bar is available for all event needs, on or off property. We hold a valid catering endorsement, allowing us to take our bar off-site to your catered events, when applicable. We work with various Ontario wine and craft beer companies to bring you the tastiest beverages our region has to offer. We look forward to serving you!






Additional Important Notes:
- Accessibility: our washrooms are located on the second floor accessed via a staircase, therefore we cannot consider ourselves a fully accessible space (in our historic old home).
- Patio: Our outdoor patio space is also fully licensed! Our patio is smoke-free.
- Payments: we accept cash, debit and credit (Visa, MC, Amex, Diners).
- Parking: we have 9 spaces in our small lot. For evening events, we have an additional 6 spaces in a small lot across the street; otherwise, there is street parking in the area, complimentary after 6 PM.
