Get Organized!
Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.
Get Prepped!
Measure out all ingredients.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Remove the core from the pear and cut into a small dice.
For the topping, combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combined. Set aside.
Get Cooking!
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix until combined and set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, eggs and yogurt and whisk until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Add the oats and pears and stir gently until combined.
Portion the batter into muffin cups in a muffin tin. Top with a generous amount of the topping mixture and gently press it onto the top of the batter.
Bake in the preheat oven for 25 – 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Remove from the muffin tin and allow to cool on a cooling rack.
