Cucumber Salad

This refreshing cucumber salad combines thinly sliced cucumbers, red onion, and fresh dill with a creamy dressing, perfectly seasoned for a tangy, flavourful side dish.

4 cucumbers1 red onion, sliced thinly4 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped2 tablespoons mayonnaise2 tablespoons greek yogurt2 tablespoons sour cream2 tablespoons white vinegar2 cloves garlic, minced Salt to taste Pepper to taste

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Peel 4 strips down the length of the cucumbers. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise, and then slice thinly into half moon shapes.

Remove the root and tip of the onion, then peel the outer skin. Cut in half and slice very thinly.

Using a rasp, or alternatively a chef’s knife, mince the garlic finely.

Get Cooking!

In a bowl combine the dill, mayonnaise, yogurt, sour cream, vinegar, and garlic and mix well.

Add the cucumber and red onion and mix until well coated. Season with salt and pepper, or potentially more vinegar.
