Growing Chefs! Ontario: Elementary Hot Lunch Program

The Beet Café has offered scratch made meals, sold at-cost for the past 9 years to preschools and private schools, feeding over 65,000 happy customers every year! This allows our Education Projects to operate from a certified kitchen space without having to build that cost into our operations — thus helping our Education Projects to reach more people.

We are currently accepting new partners for our new hot lunch program. The Beet Café is expanding to offer healthy hot lunches to schools Tuesday – Thursday. Orders are open!

How it works:

We deliver hot meals in reusable packaging. When you are finished the meal, please empty the containers of extra food (no need to wash, we will do that later!). Don’t forget your own cutlery (or let us know if you need compostable cutlery added). One of our fabulous chef team members will be back before the end of the day to pick up the hot holding boxes and lunch boxes.

All of our healthy meals are scratch made in our nut free kitchen, made with Halal meat, and have vegetarian substitutions. We do our best to make sure everyone is included, please inquire about food allergies as needed.

As we are piloting this program, we are accepting a limited number of schools throughout January. Please contact us ASAP to book your hot lunch day. Orders must be finalized one week in advance of hot lunch delivery.
