Very Berry Fruit Salad

You can choose whatever berries you would like to go into this fruit salad, the more the merrier! Even better, fresh picked berries in the summer pack the most flavour into them.

Ingredients
1 cup strawberries1/2 cup blueberries1/2 cup raspberries1/2 cup blackberries1 lime, zested and juiced1 teaspoon maple syrup

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather all of the ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Wash all berries gently in a strainer. Set out to dry partially on a clean dry dish towel or paper towel.

Remove hull from strawberries, and dice into fingernail sizes pieces using a safe chopper or a paring knife.

Cut blackberries and raspberries into similar sizes pieces as the strawberries, and place them in a large bowl. Add blueberries.

Using a rasp, zest the lime into a small bowl. Cut the lime in half and squeeze out as much juice as possible.

Measure the maple syrup in with the lime juice and zest and stir together.

Get Cooking!

Gently combine berries and lime dressing. Serve immediately.
