Directions

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Slice the peppers thinly, peel and chop the onion, and cube the cheese. Have the sour cream measured and ready.

Get Cooking!

Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sliced peppers and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the cubed cheese. If using unripened cheese, the cubes will fry slightly; if using melting cheese, it will begin to soften and melt.

Stir in the sour cream and cook until all ingredients are heated through and combined.

Season with salt to taste. For a thinner, soup-like consistency, stir in a little milk. Serve immediately.
