1/4 cup canola oil10 cloves of garlic, minced1/4 cup roasted sesame oil

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Mince the garlic using a chef’s knife.

Measure the oils.

Get Cooking!

In a medium pot over medium heat, add the canola oil and the minced garlic. Once the garlic begins to bubble, reduce the heat to low and continue to cook, while stirring frequently, until the garlic has turned a very dark brown, approximately 10 minutes.

Once the garlic has darkened, remove from the heat immediately. Add this mixture to a blender with the roasted sesame oil and blend on high speed until well combined, roughly 30 seconds. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months, using as a seasoning where desired.
