Belgian Waffles

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Preheat your waffle iron and spray with non-stick spray.
In a large mixing bowl add your flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Mix it together well.
In the stand mixer bowl separate your egg whites from the yolks. Using the whisk attachment, beat your egg whites on high speed until they form stiff peaks.
In another bowl, add your egg yolks, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Combine with a whisk.
Add the yolk mixture to the dry ingredients, and mix well. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites once the batter is mixed well.

Get Cooking!

Allow your waffle iron to preheat. Add one scoop of batter to the preheated waffle iron.
The light should indicate doneness.
