Filling:

5 cups apples1/4 cup honey1 teaspoon cinnamon1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Topping:

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats1/4 cup flour1/4 cup brown sugar1 teaspoon cinnamon1 teaspoon vanilla1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, chopped1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Peel and chop apples into a 1 centimetres dice. 

Measure honey, cinnamon, and raisins (if using) for filling. 

Measure the dry ingredients for the topping: the oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. 

Chop the pumpkin seeds coarsely. 

Melt the butter over medium heat, and add vanilla. 

Get Cooking!

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Mix together all the filling ingredients and place in a 9 inch baking dish. 

Add in the melted butter with vanilla to the dry ingredients for the topping, and stir until it is evenly distributed.

Sprinkle the topping ingredients over the filling

Bake for 40 – 45 minutes until the apples are tender and bubbling.
