Monthly Adult Cooking Classes are BACK – and better than ever! We are also FINALLY re-opening our amazing Headquarters location at 460 King St.! Better still, 50% of your ticket fee is eligible for a tax receipt! Yes! Our amazing in-person classes, led by our extraordinary Chefs, now directly support our School Food Education Projects! Does it get any better than that? Read on to find out what phenomenal classes are on tap:

What to Expect:
Prepare to experience our high-energy, hands-on cooking class for children, adapted for adults! Led by our amazing Chef team, come explore some great new recipes, professional instruction and a sit-down meal – prepared entirely by YOU.

Ages:
19+ (*these classes are for Adults only*)

Growing Chefs! Ontario holds a valid catering licence, meaning we are a fully licensed space during private events. We work with various Ontario companies to bring you the tastiest beverages our region has to offer, further supporting our mission to #supportlocal. A cash bar will be available, accepting cash, credit and debit cards.

Pricing:Monthly Adult Cooking Class tickets are $100 per person.

What your ticket includes:
2 and a half-hour high-energy, interactive cooking class, a sit-down meal and a donation which helps fund two children to participate in our public programming! A tax receipt for 50% of your class fee is available for each ticket purchased. One price, twice the impact!

Date & Time:
Adult Monthly Cooking Classes will run once a month on Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 8:30pm

Summer Pop-Up Series: For the first time ever, we’re hosting a Summer Series take on our regular Monthly Adult Cooking Classes. In an effort to take full advantage of the bounty of the season, we’re hosting two consecutive classes running subsequent weeks in early August. Come to a single class, or purchase a discounted package to join us for both.

Wednesday, August 10th: Canning, Preserving & Fermenting

Location: Classes will be returning to our iconic Headquarters facility, at 460 King St. This space offers the perfect intimate ambience to learn a new skill within the beautiful surroundings of our truly historic venue.

Food Allergies: Don’t let a dietary concern prevent you from participating in our classes! Our Chef team is highly experienced in managing dietary requirements, so please reach out to us to discuss. Contact [email protected]growingchefsontario.ca with any specific concerns, and we’ll do our best to make the appropriate accommodations.

Capacity:
We will continue adhering to recent COVID-19 distancing recommendations, at least through April, at which time we will revisit this. So, to ensure every participant has the opportunity to interact with our Chef team, the capacity of these classes has been limited at present.

COVID-19 Safety:
Growing Chefs! continues to work closely with Public Health as we begin to transition away from COVID-19 related health and safety protocols for our programming and events. We strongly recommend vaccinations and masking as tools to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to require masks be worn during food preparation until further notice.

Cancellations:
Refund or cancellation requests must be communicated directly to Emily at [email protected]ca a minimum of 7 days prior to class. These classes are extremely popular and fill quickly, and we will open your spot to our waiting list. If cancelled with less than 7 days notice, you will be given the option to switch your ticket to a future class (if spots are available) or be provided a tax receipt for the remaining donation amount, with our thanks.
