Growing Chefs! has truly become a leader in food education, empowering our community to build healthy and positive relationships with food. Since 2008, we have united hundreds of chefs, growers, educators and community members in children’s food education projects, reaching over 100,000 children and youth to date.
This Giving Tuesday please join us to reach our goal of $10,000 to help provide food education to children, youth and families in London and surrounding areas this coming year. We are a leading voice in food education but we need your support to reach another 10,000+ children this year.
Evidence shows that the long-term impacts of food education programming improve food literacy, help to reduce food insecurity and result in a stronger, healthier and more livable city.
