Where Does Your Food Come From?
What to Expect: Join Growing Chefs! Ontario as we explore the exciting “behind the scenes” of where our food comes from! Then through a guessing game and a menu design competition, we will explore the pros and cons of local vs global foods.
Who can register: Elementary teachers for Grades 1 – 3. We can accommodate multiple classes joining from separate rooms on the same call.
Dates and times: Let us know a 1 hour time slot during your school day that works best for you. Send us 3 of your preferred dates, and we will let you know which date we’re available.
Location: Online! Stay right in your classroom and we’ll come to you virtually.
Pricing: $100. This cost is the same regardless of how many classes join the zoom call. Subsidies are available upon request for teachers that anticipate financial barriers to having students attend, please contact christy@growingchefsontario.ca to explore subsidy options.
