On June 1st, in partnership with the Grove and the Middlesex London Food Policy Council, Growing Chefs! Ontario hosted Global Gastronomy: Master Class and Gourmet Dinner. This incredible evening with Rodrigo Pacheco, Ecuadorian Chef and UN GoodWill Ambassador for Food and Agriculture, was truly a night to remember.
The Master Class was a resounding success, garnering 100% satisfaction from attendees (7 of which are local chefs). Participants had one-on-one time with Chef Rodrigo Pacheco, in an intimate class atmosphere. Learning valuable skills and techniques, making incredible food and recipes – making the experience unforgettable.
The Gourmet Dinner was a one of a kind culinary experience! Attended by notable guests from 3 levels of government, representatives from prominent local businesses, real estate developers, non-profits, and community leaders alike. With guidance from Chef Rodrigo Pacheco and GCO’s team and the exceptional support from Fanshawe College’s culinary instructors and students, the 3 course meal was flawless.
We are extremely passionate about helping London join his global community of connectors and change makers. Hearing Rodrigo’s journey in creating the largest edible food forest, gives us hope that we can do the same here.
