Strawberry Watermelon Slushies

This refreshing drink is perfect for a hot summer day!

5 cups watermelon, cubed and frozen5 cups strawberries, frozen1 tablespoon maple syrup1 tablespoon lemon juice1/2 cup mint leaves1 cup water

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of you equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Peel the watermelon and cut into 3 or 4 centimeter cubes, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and put into the freezer. Strawberries can be frozen whole (even with the leaves). Let fruit freeze completely before using, at least 3 – 4 hours.

Get Cooking!

Place all ingredients except for water into a blender on medium speed. You may need to blend in batches, do not overfill the blender.

Add water and continue to blend until the slushie is desired consistency.
