Royal Icing

The perfect icing to decorate your sugar cookies with!
1 1/2 cups
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted1 1/2 tablespoons meringue powder8 tablespoons room temperature water

Gather all of your ingredients and equipment before you get started!

Get Prepped!

Measure the icing sugar and meringue powder into a bowl. Stir to combine.

Get Cooking!

Using a stand mixer, slowly add water while mixing. Add water until desired consistency is reached. A thicker consistency will be better for lines, and a thinner consistency will be better for flooding cookies.
