Hot Chocolate

Whether you are out building snow forts, barrelling down hills on a sled, or just feeling a little chilly, this hot chocolate will surely take away your chills.

4 cups milk1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder1/3 cup granulated sugar1/2 cup chocolate chips1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract pinch of salt

Get Organized!

Gather all of your ingredients and equipment before you get started.

Get Prepped!

Measure out milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla into your pot, and add a pinch of salt.

Measure out the chocolate chips and set in a separate bowl.

Get Cooking!

Set the pot over medium heat, and bring the milk mixture up until it is steaming, but do not let it boil.

Whisk constantly, and slowly add in the chocolate chips. Continue to cook until the chocolate chips are all melted. Serve warm and enjoy!
