4 slices whole wheat bread1/4 cup butter, room temperature2/3 cup cheddar cheese, grated2/3 cup mozzarella, grated

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Grate the mozzarella and cheddar cheese and combine into a bowl.

Spread an even layer of butter on one side of each piece of bread. On the non-buttered side, place the cheese and assemble into a sandwich.

Get Cooking!

On medium high heat, preheat your frying pan for a minute. Place the sandwich carefully into the pan and let toast on the first side for 3 – 4 minutes until golden brown. Flip the sandwich and let toast further until both sides are golden and cheese is fully melted.
