Growing Chefs! Ontario Feta Dip
Gather your mis en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.
Cut cucumber in half lengthwise, and then again into quarters. If there are large seeds, remove them. Cut cucumber into thin strips, and then finely. dice
Cut bell pepper in half, remove seeds and stem. Cut into thin pieces and finely. dice
Cut sun dried tomatoes into strips, and then very finely. dice
Remove basil or parsley leaves and discard stems. Chop leaves very finely with scissors or a chef’s knife.
Chop chives very finely with scissors or a chef’s knife.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the feta, cream cheese, 1 tablespoon olive oil and the honey with the back of a spoon until the cheeses are softened and well-combined.
Add the remaining ingredients, 2 tablespoon olive oil and gently combine.
Transfer the feta cheese dip into a serving bowl. Serve with your favourite vegetables or crackers.
