Chicken Skewers with Honey Mustard Glaze

5 chicken breasts, cubed and brined1/2 cup honey1 cup grainy dijon mustard1 1/2 teaspoons thyme leaves1 red peppers1 red onion

Gather your mis en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Whisk together honey, mustard, and thyme leaves in a bowl.

Slice chicken into thin strips.

Cut the red pepper in half and remove seeds and pith. Cut into squares about the size of a quarter.

Remove the tip and the root from the onion. Cut in half and peel the outside layer. Cut into large squares, about the same size as the peppers.

On the skewer, place a piece of red pepper, red onion, chicken, then another red pepper and red onion.

Get Cooking!

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

In a frying pan on medium heat, cook the chicken pieces until lightly browned all around.

Brush the chicken with the honey mustard glaze, then roast chicken kebabs in the oven at 400°F for 10 minutes.
