Bee Balm Salmoriglio

Salmoriglio is a southern Italian condiment that is spiced up here with some bee balm! It’s a perfect pairing with seafood and meats because of it’s bright lemony flavour!

Ingredients
1 cup flat leaf parsley leaves1 cup bee balm1 garlic clove1/2 cup grapeseed oil1/2 cup olive oil1 lemon, zest and juice1/4 cup water Salt and pepper to taste

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Bring a small pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Add the bee balm and parsley and cook for only about 5 seconds. Remove and place immediately into an ice bath.

Once cool, remove the herbs and squeeze until dry.

Get Cooking!

In a high speed blender, combine garlic, lemon zest and juice, herbs and water. Begin blending at high speed.

Slowly add both oils to the mixture while blending, until all oil is combined and mixture is smooth.

Remove from the blender and check seasoning.
