Join us as our Chefs lead participants step-by-step through family favourite recipes!

What to Expect: Join our Chefs each month as they explore seasonal flavours and exciting twists on much-loved recipes that are great for the whole family! Our Chefs will take participants step-by-step through the recipes, helping your young chefs develop confidence, enthusiasm and cooking skills.

Ages:
participants must between 7 – 11 on the day of the class.

Location: Monthly Kid’s Cooking Class will be hosted at The Grove at The Western Fair District, located at 900 King St.

Tuesday June 17th, 5:30 – 7:00pm – FULL

Pricing: Our Monthly Kid’s Cooking Classes are offered at $30. We are committed to providing low-cost food education experiences for children and youth. A subsidized price option is built into the registration form, but if cost still remains a barrier to registration, please contact christy@growingchefsontario.ca to explore further subsidy options. There is also an option on the registration form to donate $5 to our Food Education Subsidy Fund, every little bit you can give helps!

Join Chef Mojdeh, one of our talented team members who has a passion for reducing food waste and using every part of the plant or animal when cooking! She’ll show some practical and delicious tips on how you can minimize food waste at home too.

Accessibility and Inclusivity: We are proud to announce our facility at The Grove can accommodate wheelchair users. We also have a gender-inclusive washroom available and are a safe space. Please let our staff team know of any mobility or any needed accommodations in advance, and we will plan accordingly.

Updated Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Cancellations must be communicated by email to Education Programs Manager christy@​growingchefsontario.​ca as early as possible.

Cancellations received more than 14 days before the class will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of $5 per participant.

Cancellations received less than 14 days before the class, provided we are successful in refilling their spot, are eligible to receive a full refund minus an administrative fee of $5 per participant. If we are unsuccessful, despite efforts in filling their spot, a partial refund of 50% will be offered.

Cancellations received within 3 days of class, are ineligible to receive a refund, except in extenuating circumstances as approved by the Education Programs Manager. We are unable to offer credits to future classes, or to transfer the spot to another participant of your choosing (unless it is a sibling within the correct age range).
