Our Chefs will lead you step-by-step through family favourite recipes!

What to Expect: Join our Chefs each month as they explore seasonal flavours and exciting twists on much-loved recipes that are great for the whole family! Our Chefs will take participants step-by-step through the recipes, helping your young chefs develop confidence, enthusiasm and cooking skills.

Ages:
12 – 16 (Must be 12 years old by the date of the class)

Location:
Teen Cooking Class will be hosted at The Grove at The Western Fair District, located at 900 King St.

Dates & Time:
Tuesday, August 20th, 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Pricing: $30/​participant.

We are committed to providing low-cost food education experiences for children and youth. A subsidized price option is built into the registration form, but if cost still remains a barrier to registration, please contact christy@growingchefsontario.ca to explore further subsidy options. There is also an option on the registration form to donate $5 to our Food Education Subsidy Fund, every little bit you can give helps!

August’s Menu Theme: Asian street food

Yakisoba (stir fried beef noodles)

Yaki tomorokoshi (soy corn on the cob)

Taiyaki (fish shaped sweet custard pancakes)

Food Allergies: Our team is highly experienced in managing dietary restrictions. Do not let a dietary concern prevent your child from participating in our programming. Cancellations: Once full payment is received and registration is confirmed, any cancellation must be directly communicated to Growing Chefs! Staff as early as possible. Cancellations made once the program has started will be eligible for refunds on a case by case basis.
