Lobster Roll

This is an East Coast classic, featuring a toasted hot dog bun and tender lobster meat salad.
Serves 4
400 grams cooked lobster meat, preferably tail, knuckle and claw1/2 cup celery, diced1/4 cup mayonnaise2 tablespoons parsley leaves, chopped2 tablespoons chives, chopped Boston Bibb Lettuce Hot dog buns3/20 cup butter, room temperature Lemon to taste Salt to taste Pepper to taste

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Roughly chop the cooked lobster meat, but keep any claw pieces largely intact.

Dice the celery small, no bigger than 1 centimeter.

Measure the mayonnaise and combine in a bowl with the lobster meat, celery, parsley and chives. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste.

Get Cooking!

Generously butter the hot dog bun and toast lightly in a pan or on a small griddle.

Fill the bun first with bibb lettuce, then top with the lobster mix. Serve with lemon on the side.
