We love appetizers that combine sweet and savoury! These creamy goat cheese stuffed dates are wrapped in bacon for a mouthwatering appetizer. As if it couldn’t get any better, that are drizzled at the end with a rosemary honey for another sweet and savoury flavour punch!

Ingredients
6 ozs goat cheese24 plump Medjool dates12 slices thinly sliced bacon, cut in half1/3 cup honey1 tablespoon rosemary, finely chopped1 pinch cayenne pepper Black pepper to taste Salt to taste

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Split the dates in half with a paring of chef’s knife so you can stuff them, but don’t cut them all the way through.

Finely chop rosemary.

In a small pot, combine honey, rosemary, and cayenne. Bring to a boil over medium heat and turn off immediately.

Fill each date with goat cheese, and wrap with ½ piece of bacon tightly.

Place the bacon wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and drizzle them with the rosemary honey.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Bake for 2025 minutes until bacon is crispy. Serve immediately.
