For the lemonade:

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Wash the lemons well before cutting them in half. Using a citrus reamer, juice the lemons into a bowl and remove any seeds.

Thinly slice the garnish lemon into rounds.

Measure the elderflower syrup, sparkling water, and cold water into separate containers.

Wash the mint and gently pat dry.

Get Cooking!

In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, elderflower syrup, and cold water. Stir thoroughly with a wooden spoon until fully combined.

Taste the lemonade and add honey if you would like a slightly sweeter flavour. Stir until dissolved.

Just before serving, slowly pour in the sparkling water and stir gently so the bubbles stay light and fizzy.

Add ice, lemon slices, and fresh mint.

Serve immediately while cold and sparkling.
