A classic Italian pastry filled with a sweet and light ricotta filling wrapped in a crispy shell with chocolate chips.
4 1/2 cups ricotta cheese3 tablespoons 35% cream1 cup icing sugar1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/4 teaspoon cinnamon333/1000 cup mini chocolate chips24 small cannoli shells

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

In the stand mixer with whisk attachment, combine ricotta cheese, 35% cream, icing sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Start the mixer on low speed until everything is combined, then turn it to high speed and mix for 3 to 4 minutes until the mixture is nice and smooth.

Transfer the filling mixture into a piping bag.

Get Cooking!

Holding the cannoli shell in one hand, use your other hand to hold the piping bag. Insert the tip of the piping bag ¾ of the way into the cannoli shell, then begin filling and slowly pull the tip back through until the shell is fully filled, with filling coming out and visible on both sides. Fill all the cannoli shells.

Place the mini chocolate chips into a bowl and dip one side of each cannoli in so the chocolate chips stick. You can use all sorts of different toppings to garnish these little tasty desserts!
