Blueberry Avocado Smoothie

This smoothie is full of delicious ingredients to help start your morning with lots of energy. It’s easy to substitute ingredients for smoothies: if you have other frozen berries try using them instead of blueberries, or try a banana instead of an avocado.”

1/2 cup blueberries Handful of spinach2 tablespoons hemp seeds1 cup greek yogurt1 cup ice cubes (optional)1/4 teaspoon cinnamon1/2 avocado Small slice fresh ginger

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather all of the ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Measure out blueberries, spinach, hemp seeds, greek yogurt, ice cubes, and cinnamon into the blender. 

Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out one side of the avocado into the blender, and save the other side for another use. 

Peel the edge of the ginger with a spoon and cut a small piece of ginger off and put it in the blender. 

Get Cooking!

Blend all ingredients together on high speed until smoothie is well blended together. Serve immediately.
