BBQ Corn Ribs

Everybody loves fresh corn, and this is a fun twist on the usual cob in style of ribs! BBQ and corn, what a perfect late summer pairing!

4 cobs of corn, quartered1/4 cup butter, melted2 teaspoons nutritional yeast1 clove garlic, minced

BBQ Seasoning

Ingredients
2 tablespoons brown sugar2 tablespoons smoked paprika2 teaspoons garlic powder2 teaspoons chili powder1 teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon black pepper

Get Organized!

Gather your mise en place; get together all of the equipment needed for the recipe and gather your ingredients.

Get Prepped!

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Shuck the corn. Have an adult help cut the corn into quarters lengthwise.

Peel the garlic, and using a rasp finely grate it.

Add the butter to a small pot and melt over low heat. Add the nutritional yeast and minced garlic and simmer very low for 2 minutes.

Measure all ingredients for the BBQ spice and combine in a bowl. Whisk together very well.

Get Cooking!

Lay the corn out on the baking sheet and brush generously with the flavoured butter.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until corn is cooked through.

Remove from the oven, brush with any leftover butter again while still warm. Finish with BBQ seasoning and serve hot.
