About the Community Cooking Challenge:
For several years Growing Chefs! Ontario has been exploring various ideas for how to get community members, parents and children involved in cooking activities with our organization. Through our in-school and community programs we have seen first-hand the impact of our cooking sessions on the children who participate, but we have also been made aware of the struggles that some parents have had with continuing to cook with their children afterwards.
This is where you come in! Along with a team of two other employees, you will be involved in the creation of a resource-filled webpage for the Community Cooking Challenge Events - cooking workshops run in various community locations under the guidance of the Growing Chefs! Ontario team. With your help, these resources will provide the support to get community members and families exploring cooking together both at and outside of the Community Cooking Challenge Events.
Growing Chefs! Ontario is a registered charity based in London, Ontario that unites chefs, growers, educators and community members in children’s food education projects.
