Sunday Supper Series - Chef Katherine Jones

Sunday, March 24, 2019

Join our finest Chefs as they create a unique dining experience in support of Growing Chefs! Ontario.

Katherine Jones is the Executive Chef of Growing Chefs! Ontario. A graduate of Stratford Chef School, she started volunteering with Growing Chefs! in 2012 which quickly turned into a full-time position.

Chef Katherine describes her role at Growing Chefs! as her perfect job … “I love working with kids; I love making a difference in our community and I am proud every day to be able to have fun; it's such a great opportunity to teach people.”

Chef Katherine’s favourite things include: the plethora of beautiful local food we have in Southwestern Ontario, foraging for wild edibles and, of course, the many incredible teaching moments shared with children.

Chef Katherine plans to transport you to the Sugar Shack through her creative menu, incorporating all things maple along with heartwarming family style food inspired by the season and cooked in the wood-fire oven.
