Sunday Supper Series - Chef Chris St. Laurent

Join our finest Chefs as they create a unique dining experience in support of Growing Chefs! Ontario. 

Chef Chris started his culinary career in a small restaurant in Thornbury, Ontario, as part of a co-op program in high school.  After completing his placement and graduating, Chef Chris was accepted into the Culinary Arts program at Fanshawe College and relocated to London.  He served his program externship at the Hilton Hotel, where he subsequently worked for a number of years before accepting a position here at Growing Chefs! Ontario as part of the amazing Beet Café team.

Chef Chris believes “food can comfort you and food can surprise you.  Food can take you home when you’re on the road and around the world when you’re at home.  Food can bring people together.  I think it is important to take the time to appreciate just how important food really is.”

 For his Sunday Supper menu, Chef Chris is celebrating the season, featuring a variety of fresh ingredients now available after the long winter.  Spring is in the air – come and celebrate it with us!

Menu: 

  • Brioche / Lemon Oolong Butter
  • Hickory Smoked Tomato / Arugula / Goat Cheese / Balsamic Vinegar / Baguette
  • Pea Soup /  Feta Crème Fraîche
  • Lemon & Cracked Peppercorn Sorbet
  • Honey Gremolata Glazed Lamb/ New Potatoes/ Asparagus / Carrot / Radish
  • Strawberry Bombe /  Honeycomb Sponge Toffee / Vanilla Tuile

For each event, our doors open at 5:30pm for cash bar service. Dinner service begins at 6:00pm.

At Growing Chefs! we believe food is communal and better shared with our friends and neighbours. Come with family and meet new friends at our joint table service.

Tickets are $55 per person.

*Please note our washrooms are located on the second floor or our historic old home/venue, accessed only via stairs, therefore we cannot consider ourselves an accessible space.
