Growing Chefs! Ontario is a registered charity based in London, Ontario that unites chefs, growers, educators and community members in Children’s food education projects. Our mission is to get kids excited about healthy wholesome food, and to build and maintain a healthy, empowered community that is engaged with its food system.

We have recently undergone a significant expansion through the acquisition of a historic space in downtown London to transform into our very own Food Education Centre. Therefore, Growing Chefs! Ontario is now hiring a Facility Coordinator to join the team as we continue to expand our private events and educational projects in our new headquarters (formerly, Auberge du Petit Prince restaurant, 460 King St. London).

The Facility Coordinator will report directly to the Facility Director to manage, execute and assist in the organization of these events. Key responsibilities will include the development of service systems and other protocols for Front of House staff, management of facility maintenance and safety protocols, and further project collaboration with the full Growing Chefs! Team to deliver high quality experiences in our space. Preference given to those with some supervision experience in the hospitality industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to increase your supervisory experience and to meaningfully contribute to the development of a local, non-profit organization. The successful applicant will gain a full perspective on the inner workings of a registered charity, and experiences that are applicable to both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
