Culinary Education Program Assistant

Growing Chefs! Ontario (GCO) is a registered charity based in London, Ontario that unites Chefs, growers, educators and community members in children’s food education projects. Our mission is to get kids excited about healthy wholesome food, and to build and maintain a healthy, empowered community that is engaged with its food system.

GCO approaches food education from the perspective of food-systems: the understanding that our daily food choices are embedded in local and global systems with links to community, health, economies, and the environment. Our education programs are experiential learning opportunities in which participants interact with food from production to preparation to consumption and beyond. We work with a team of skilled Chefs and educators to implement food-based activities that are fun, delicious and inspiring. GCO works closely with multiple London school boards and community agencies to provide unique learning experiences.

GCO is now hiring for the newly created full-time position of Culinary Education Program Assistant.
