Chris Large - Sunday Supper

Sunday, February 24, 2019

Join our finest Chefs as they create a unique dining experience in support of Growing Chefs! Ontario.

Chef Chris Large is the backbone of the Beet Café. His usual day starts at 6 AM as he leads the Beet team through the planning, preparation and delivery of 350 scratch-made hot school lunches each day.  We think it’s time that he has the opportunity to stay up late and produce an amazing dinner for you to enjoy!

Chef Chris will take you on a culinary tour and history lesson of Canada – celebrating our unique ingredients and our mosaic of ethnicities and traditions – and there are sure to be some all-Canadian libations offered to pair with your meal!  He believes that food brings people together and has the power to bridge the gap between cultures.  Chef Chris credits cooking with saving his life and wants to share his joy of life and food with you.

Chef Chris states that he is honoured to be part of such an amazing movement as Growing Chefs!  and we are so honoured and fortunate to have him.

Come and enjoy a tour of Canada with Chef Chris and the Growing Chefs! team.
