Programming for Know Your Roots is all in the name. It’s a week of exploring where food comes from, where it goes, how it gets there – and how we fit into that system. Every day, campers will have opportunities to explore our Learning Garden, cook their own lunch, serve their friends, and try something new! See pages 5 and 6 of the Information Guide for a better idea of our program offerings. The KYR program will empower children in their relationship with food by encouraging curiosity, adventure, compassion, and skills development. KYR is a safe and fun space where skilled staff/volunteers facilitate unique learning opportunities, all based in principles of experiential learning and systems thinking.
Registration covers one week of programming. We do not offer day-by-day registration. For details on our absence/late and extended care policies, please see page 8 of the Information Package.
